Making Plans 957 Posted January 19, 2013 Our brilliant away fans - still singing OTBC when we were 5 downGrant Holt - well capable of scoring goals at this level but given nothingElliott Bennett - gets a chance but is told to double up at left backAny striker we might buy in the next couple of weeks - is on a hidding to nothingThe subs sitting on the bench freezing - all but one of them might as well stayed at home
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted January 19, 2013 We will switch to 4-4-2 when we have the right player. Morison has been the biggest let down since the end of 2011. We are only going 1 up front because the rest of them are pants. 4-4-2 will mean we can hold the ball in opposition half more and then we can get our excellent wingers into play more. AJ 1,358 Posted January 19, 2013 Big shout out to our fans, could hear you loud and clear near the end - just a shame the player couldn''t match the commitment.Holty was still running his legs off at the end, no service and playing upfront on his own for 90 minutes is never going to achieve anything. Bonus is we know he''s fully fit again.Benno, feel mega sorry for him. Worked so hard for his chance, then played so deep we may as well have played Lappin or Surman. He should have played where Howson was, with Pilks or Surman on the left. Howson hasn''t done enough to merit a start for me.As for signings, the prospect of leaving Celtic, a game or two against Juventus, to play for a club who just got creamed - that makes the decision a little harder
Dr. Ink 0 Posted January 19, 2013 I feel sorry for Snodgrass. Showed real signs of frustration at the lack of effort by several of his teammates.
AJ 1,358 Posted January 19, 2013 So did Holt towards the end, he was doing all the chasing. For what it''s worth, although I think he was very poor, Howson put in a heck of a lot of running - although it was usually chasing his own lose passes or when he lost the ball.Ho hum! Dr. Ink 0 Posted January 19, 2013 I feel sorry for Snodgrass. One of the few today who really tried. He looked very frustrated at some of his teammates lack of effort.
