yellow 63 25 Posted February 27, 2005 after todays results we must simply beat man city on monday to have a chance of staying up but whatever happens lets enjoy the last few games and really get behind the lads just like our friends down the road the town players must be well hacked off with their fans booed off the park twice in a week after being top for ages
LinkNR9 0 Posted February 27, 2005 Agreed; if we don''t WIN tomorrow, we''ll be too far behind Palace to play catch-up, especially with the fixtures coming up.
ZLF 334 Posted February 28, 2005 Like us Palarse have a tough set of games coming up and we play each other during that time too. However a defeat, although very damaging does not mean certain relegation for us, although we MUST get at least 9 points from the home games against Citeh, Birmingham, Charlton and Newcastle to have a chance of staying up. IF we do lose tonght e must remain behind the team until the final whistle and remain positive tomorrow. OTBC

A hell of a lot more entertaining than playing for nothing other than mid-table mediocrity. Gives us a lot more to talk about than the likes of Bolton, Man City, Fulham, Charlton etc. Happy days
