I think we were in a similar position last season. Nicely mid-table, and the hard work is paying off!

Another tight game today, but we continue to grind out results. If we can keep on doing that, we''ll be safe as houses

Good place to be.

I''d rather we were in a more ''realistic'' position, compared to last season and based on our squads ability, than a position that WBA are in. They are doing very well, and have kept up their high standard for a while, but for them the only way is down. We can go up, down or stay where we are very easily, with staying where we are the most likely in my opinion.

I have never been worried about relegation, but 7 points above the drop zone with three winnable games coming up (Wigan and WBA are just asking to lose... Although maybe we are too), certainly no reason not to keep our unbeaten run going for a while. Especially if Johnson accidentally breaks Michu early on next weekend.

Another good thing at the moment is there is only one team, Fulham, who can go above us if we don''t win next weekend. Newcastle or Wigan can as well if one of them wins, but then Newcastle play Fulham next week anyway.

right, so you would rather be 14th for example, than 4th or 5th? interesting

WBA, my earlier example, have now lost two in a row.

Go away to Arsenal next, who are already through in the CL I believe, so won''t be too worried about playing a strong side but did just lose in the league so will really want to come back with a win as they are currently 10th.

They then face West Ham, could go either way, but they are looking good at the moment.

Then us, and we aren''t easy to beat. Then QPR away on boxing day, Harry might have started getting results out of his current players by then, before WBA go on to face Man.U.

They''ll be lucky if they get to 30 points in December, being on 26 now. Whereas I think we can pick up a few points in our next 3 games, anything from 5-9. And have a good chance against Chelsea and Man.C if we continue our current level of performance up.

WBA can no longer improve, performance wise yes, but result and position wise not really. They could of course start winning again, beat Arsenal, West Ham and us. And of course i''m biased towards us, but honestly right now I wouldn''t be shocked to see WBA winless throughout December. Won''t be shocked if they win some either, but still...
