SYG 0 Posted October 25, 2012 Does anyone know when he will make the first team squad?Played for the U21''s the other day, so must be near ready. Can''t see any mention of him in the press etc
Gingerpele 0 Posted October 25, 2012 Thought we''d have seen him on the bench after his appearance against Donny. He''s played in at least one U21 game (Monday) since then. I''d imagine he will start against Spurs next Wednesday. Hopefully he''ll play as well as he did against Donny and will be competing for a first team place soon, he looked pretty decent. morty 0 Posted October 25, 2012 When I saw him in the cup game he certainly shone, and looks a good prospect, but definitely looked short of match fitness.
Redders Right Foot 22 Posted October 25, 2012 I''d say we may see him at least on the bench next weekend. I''d expect him to start v spurs midweek
Smudger 0 Posted October 25, 2012 Hopefully very soon, as Butterfield is a very exciting young prospect. Watched a lot the lad prior to his injury at Barnsley and I was very happy when we signed him. I expect great things from Butterfield if he is able to fulfil his potential.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,749 Posted October 25, 2012 I''d rather him on the bench ahead of Surman, he looks more likely to make something happen?
Gingerpele 0 Posted October 25, 2012 Well I''m sure someone posted an article or two when we signed him with comparisons to Gazza, so if he''s half as good as him we have a decent addition to the first team...

morty 0 Posted October 25, 2012 Just watched his goal compilation on Youtube, am very much looking forward to him being fully fit and available.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXodP52Tfns
Norfolk Mustard 94 Posted October 25, 2012 Thought Butterfield looked very classy against Doncaster; feeling his way back into it, with bags of potential. Providing he gets enough games he could be a real matchwinner this season.
