ROBFLECK 134 Posted August 30, 2012 that want Berbatov, Saha, Carroll, Abdellaoue, Bendtner,... signing for little old Naarwich. Forget about it, we can''t afford them, their wages and they would just cause unrest in the dressingroom imo. QPRse have a millionnaire backing them and that''s the only reason old has beens want to go and end their carreer there or prolong it for a season. We haven''t moved for a striker early enough, but it''d sheer fiction to think we could table bids for the above uys and snap them up just like that. The only reason Swansea are signing guys, they received a big influx on money from the Allen deal and they have a manager with a lot of connections in Spain. If you wanna support a club signing players on 40-80k a week , go somewhere else I just want us to sign a striker that''s gonna give his all for NCFC and has the ability to perform at this level. If he proves not to have this, it''s the manager''s fault. I would never have loaned out Vaughan... but I understand we can''t sign 10 million pound strikers

Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted August 30, 2012 Fair enough, but I still beleive we should be looking for a player rather better than one who has managed 21 goals in 91 championship games.
ROBFLECK 134 Posted August 30, 2012 That''s why I would have kept Vaughan!!!
Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted August 30, 2012
That''s why I would have kept Vaughan!!!
Who got 9 in 30 games! How about Christ Martin who scored 7 in 29 games (many of which he was in midfield). Get over Vaughan, always injured and never scored more than 10 goals in a season. Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted August 30, 2012 No issue with signing players on a limited budget but I just don''t rate Mackail-Smith. His work-rate is superb & he has pace but his finishing is poor & his touch average. He could have done a job for us in the Championship. His work-rate can''t make up for his poor finishing at this level.I just don''t see what improvement has been made.
