Dont know about you guys but Turner looks like hes slow and a bit of a has been to me and to get him also keeping Ward makes no sense whilst letting Zak and Ayla go

Ayala has already managed to injure himself at Forest and Whitbread''s injury problems persist meaning he didn''t manage to make one pre-season apperance or the squad for the Foxes. Turner had a bad day, he was Sunderland''s most used defender last season and generally played well. He had a disappointing debut and the fact he was behind in fitness really showed - getting a cohesive defencive unit takes time, and Turner wasn''t the only one to blame on Saturday.

Please come back op and tell us what you think both Zak and Ayala are injured and although I conceed it was not the best debut he was our best defender so why pick on Turner and not the tosh served up by Tierny and dare I even say Holt. There were at least 6 players worse than Turner.

Zak Whitbread left of his own accord unless we wanted to pay him 3 x what he was on he was never going to stay - do you think we should have done that ?
