Recommended Posts

Just wondering if Lambert possibly regrets not leaving us for celtic with what happend to rangers.Im sure that would have done more for his ego than what he acheived at our beloved NORWICH

I don''t know what is more ridiculous.. this suggestion or the one about Holt wanting to leave because we rejected Rangers £500k offer for him in January.

As much as I admire Celtic and their exception fans. To be honest winning the Scottish league this year was like winning a boxing match where your opponenet has both hands tied behind their back. It really isn''t anything to crow about.

The appropriate boxing term is a "Walkover".   In ABA boxing when progressing from one bout to another, often on the same day should one of the boxers be unable to compete (injury or whatever) the MC does the usual announcements followed by declaring the winner because the opponent is unable to compete.   The winner simply has to walk over to the opposite corner to win the bout and exits the ring.   This is where the term "It''s a walkover comes from".

In other words all Celtic have to do is turn up and walk to the other end of the pitch (metorphorically speaking)

I''ve lost count the numbers of times Lambert has said he is not interested in managing in Celtic or anywhere else in Scotland.
