As from what Michael Foulger has said an announcement is due in 48hrs, the new manager has been found in about a week. Does this suggest someone who is currently unemployed?? I know Hughton is the favourite with the bookies, it just strikes me soughting out compensation etc for him, would take longer than that!

Foulger did say something... I was there, he defiantly said announcement within 48 hours.

Chris Goreham has tweeted that the statement made by Foulger has been confirmed by the course manager, so its not just a rumour!

Although McNally said they expected him to go to a Champions League team when he eventually left (might have just been a bit of a swipe at Lambert and Villa), he''d have been prepared for this happening and would have had a list of names in his desk draw for some time.

Lambert "resigned" here on Thursday, and was announced by villa on Saturday. Probably would''ve been an official unveiling if there weren''t the bank holidays.

So yeah, I''d say it''s feasible to get it sorted in a week
