Pedantry aside, that record only still counts if you include non-competitive (preseason) fixtures. We finished the league one season losing to carlisle and lost the opening day of last season to watford.

I think if we included Cup games we''ve lost 2 in a row a couple of times since Lambert joined. In 09/10 we lost to Southampton in the Johnson''s Paint Trophy and then a league game I think...

And Last year I think the same happened when we played Blackburn in the Carling Cup.

I am, however, going by my fairly shaky memory so I could be completely wrong.

After Southampton we beat Huddersfield 3-0, and after Blackburn we drew with Forest, so i believe it still counts cup games. It''s just the friendlies that don''t count.
