The 'Lambert has never lost 2 games in a row' myth.

Recommended Posts

Sat July 7 Dereham Town 2-0 first fixture of 2010/11 PL technically has not lost 2 games in a row, therefore it is true.  Sincerely hope the myth is not exploded Tuesday night.

A record that can''t be denied is that we''ve never been "doubled" in the league under Lambert. That one could also fall on Tuesday.

If we''re counting friendlies, our last pre-season friendly this season was a defeat vs Everton just prior to the Watford match?!?

The record is he has never lost back to back games in the league in the same season. He has however lost two in a row if you include the cups.
Carlisle (h)......Watford (h) . Just thought I''d explode this myth before it''s brought up again ahead of Tuesday night !
*Sighs* It is in one season as has been pointed out on the three hundred previous occasions that a smartarse has ''exploded'' this myth [;)]
