colneycanary 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Not getting a look in at Bolton would be a fantastic loan signing. I think he would be our missing link and bang in the goals. People have said about Kevin Phillips but Birmingham are never going to let him go being in the cup final and also being in the fa cup still. Come on Lambert, I thought we were going to go for it? priceyrice 133 Posted February 24, 2011 better suggestion than most on here. could do a job if fit and ready to come into a side.I honestly think if there was a player of this quality available though Lambert would have bought them in already, i am expecting a bit more of an unknown player really, would like to be proved wrong though.Blake would do a good job
I am a Banana 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Good call, he was a brilliant player a few years ago and still is but lacks pace. I think lambert is waiting until the loanee will be allowed to play in the playoff final, they get 93 days to stay or something? And 93 days from PO final is 27th Feb so expect new players in then. LeJuge 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Worth a gamble, dependant on how much we would have to pay him. Would run the risk of him being a bit of a Tony Cottee signing though, hence the reason I wouldn''t want us to go out and give him £15k a week or something stupid like that.Sure he has enough in the tank to get in our side at the moment though and would thrive off of Grant Holt flick-ons. norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted February 24, 2011 You''re fooking kidding right? His scoring record over the last few years is poor. Blake is certainly not the answer
Mister Chops 7 Posted February 24, 2011 Not an out and out striker, and at his age and on his wages we''re better sticking with Wes for the inspiration between midfield and attack.
