colneycanary 0 Posted January 22, 2011 Nottingham Forrest drew so many games at the start of the season, which meant they''ve had to play catch up. But now they seem to be winning every game and if they were to win the 2 games in hand they have on everyone they would be top. People are talking about the QPR''s and Cardiffs in the league but Forest have the best form of recent. They are the team I fear the most to get one of the automatic promotion places. Boyo 0 Posted January 22, 2011 As proved last season, points are better than games but I agree they are a threat, as are Leicster. If we keep playing the way we have been then we need not worry about other teams.
alysha 0 Posted January 22, 2011 I''ll add that our general play seems much better than theirs, I think the difference is - is that we can play great and dominate in games yet at times struggle to win or draw, yet Forest don''t particularly look threatening to me, but when they do get a chance they will mostly finish it with the strikers of Earnshaw and Tudguy - this is what I think we are lacking, we need a natural goal scorer to partner Holt
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted January 22, 2011 Nottingham Forest - 35 goals in 25 games (1.4 goals per game on average)Norwich City - 44 goals in 27 games (1.62 goals per game on average)I think what we may lack in "natural goalscorers" we probably make up for in contributing goals as a team. When Saturday Comes 0 Posted January 22, 2011 Agree with the guy above, rather have the points in the bag. Forest are good, no doubt, but their run won''t last forever. As won''t ours, but no good looking at other teams as long as we keep putting points on the board.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted January 22, 2011 Lets just keep picking up points ourselves, if we pick up enough points we''ll be there or there abouts.
