BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted January 7, 2011 Q: If at one time I bestrode Scotland, bestrode Germany, bestrode Europe and drive a Maseratti --- then would I treat Livingstone, Wycombe, Colchester and Norwich as more than stepping stones in my managerial ambitions? A: If I am unsure that my employers have the wherewithal to go for promotion this season, then would it not make sense for me to cut and run to a competitor who can fund that ambition? After all football management is often short and brutal and no respector of past heroes. Of course I could decide to plant my roots in Norwich and aim to build a dynasty, but that would mean moving out of the hotel, persuading the family to move and settle and, and ,and..... and relying on Delia. You want a clue to where my mind is? Think Europe, think Maserati. Not many people drive Maseratis. Should I move now, or in the summer if we don''t go up? Hmmm. Eenie, meenie.....
