Men in Jackets and Plod

Recommended Posts

No doubt the "get yourself seen gang" will be too busy picking on 17 year olds easy targets rather than the real trouble makers, the idiots from Leeds who will no doubt be kicking off big time?

Seriously I hope things are organised better than last season which could of been much worse had the Leeds neanderthals organised themselves.

Keeping them behind for 15 minutes, escorts to and from coaches, trains, police horses and a zero tolerance policy should be the order of the day!
Idiots like you make me laugh.Norwich has its fair share of old school hooligans. Who were out in numbers last year.Outside the complete angler I saw two lads who were involved in the trouble in leicester(but you dont have hooligans) and on bans after a spell. We were having a drink and a bit of banter when we were confronted by the norwich lads who had been drinking further up POW road. One of the lads(norwich) has some lovely scars on his arm were he got attached to a police dogI have known most of these lads for over 25 yrs but these are not the ones that are doing the complaining. Its the little fookin idiots who give it the billy big bollocks and then cry like babies when someone goes BOO.I saw plenty of shirts giving it the throat slash and "galatasaray". if you give it be prepared to take it.
The only trouble is, The idiots that gave out the mouth wont be the same ones who "take it" I am sure

Anyone know whether the Club makes a decision in advance on whether or not to keep the slobbering Yorkshire hoards behind gates whilst we all exit in safety on Saturday or do they make a snap decision on the day and then let the Jackets and Plod leave them to their evil doings whilst cowering in fear?
After last season''s enbarrassing cock-up at the end of the Leeds game I''ll be surprised if the Old Bill don''t come down heavy on this one to try and get back some credibility. It was only by luck that there wasn''t serious disorder outside the ground last time. Plod won''t want to look so stupid on Saturday.
Well I don''t know if they have made recent changes to their plans Smithy, but my understanding of the matter is that it is unlikely to be as heavily policed as the Ipswich game.  We all know that is likely to be an error of judgement.  The fans know it, the police know it... if I remember rightly the decision is down to the wonderful FA (or was it the Football League) and money. There are also several people due in court in December for last seasons trouble.

Just to confirm what Pissed as a Matress said....Horses will be on duty tomorrow. My experience of them is that one horse does the work of ten men.You might want to confront ten Policemen and give it large but a galloping horse is a different matter. The Officer on the horse also has great vision above and into large crowds.

Bet that''s costing a packet lol.

Im not scared of any horse galloping or otherwise, after 40 years around them and breaking them in, big and small none scare me.

Alas we both have colds and coughs so wont get to the match, but hope it''s a safe one for all.

BTW  for those with kiddies who want to stroke the horses, horses cannot resist polo''s or anything minty if you want to go pet the horse, and for gods sakes keep your hand flat, they have a tendancy to think fingers are carrots lol

Boyo.....

Bloody hell,if you think the Geordies and Mckams are a "great bunch" than you havent had the pleasure of having darts thrown at you by them!!

Also i''m not sticking up for the dirty Leeds but we did have a fair few out ourselfs last season down riverside and P.O.Ws

No I haven''t!  I''ve never heard of anything bad from their sets of fans but have heard a lot about their generally good, passionate support so that is why I mentioned them.  If they do have a bit of a reputation of doing thngs like you said then I stand corrected.

So your saying Leeds only retaliated last season?  Isn''t it funny that clubs like us don''t kick off untill Leeds come to town... must be a coincidence.
