those stats are pretty close.  However, throw into the equation the oppostion played by each team, the players that were playing in each game, the substitutions used, the injuries, the crowd attendance, the home and away games, the referee, the linesmen and those stats don''t really mean a lot..............do they?

I notice that the Everton Official site show the individual stats of each player.

 If we had the same it would put some substance to the best passers, tacklers and shooters debates that often occur here.

stats often tell lies. Does Mcveigh ever give the ball away - no, does hux - yes, all the time. does that make mcveigh a better player............
