Brum Uni Canary 0 Posted November 13, 2004 And the disaster that is Green''s injury. As I write this, Johansson has completed his hat-trick. Not a fan of Ward personally but its the fault of the whole team to concede so many. Francis and his silly challenges are not helping at all.
ZLF 334 Posted November 13, 2004 But as I predited removing Holt made no real difference as the alternatives are not significantly better - Mullers and Safri ae not real options as both are equally limited but in different ways - and the main problem is with the organisation of the defence. To put it right Worthy needs to1. Sort out the defence - no more Championhip standard defender - Flem and Eddy our for Helveg and Shackell who both deserve a run of 5+ games.2 Revert Hux to being a striker - he is far to peripheral and since the Everton game has looked more and more ineffective - again too easily marhsalled by the addicks defence. Either Sven or Leon to partner dependent upon form.3. Stick to the class players - in midfield Francis, Jonson and Bentley with either Mullers or Safri - choose on and stick with them for 5+ players to play themselves in.We have 2 slots - central midfield and goal scorer - that we are short on quality at the club - we have that ability in defence but are choosing not to play them - ludicrous. None of us has seen Doc in defence - Charlies Dad was impressed for the reserves - perhaps he too should get his chance. 13 games gone and the good early defence has been lost and our attacking threat has disappeared through a team selection that puts the wrong players in. QUALITY first please.OTBC
