FatboySlimfast 0 Posted November 17, 2004 On this sad day in the history of Norwich City Football Club I feel the time has come to rally the troops and unite in our passion for all things yellow and green.Over the last few days we''ve heard all the arguments about the worthy in/worthy out debate, we''ve discussed the prospect of relegation, we''ve hammered the board and critised various players throughout the squad. Now is the time to come together. Like it or not Worthington will be in charge come saturday and some of the players we''ve moaned about will be wearing the famous yellow and green and giving their all for the club.Lets get behind them and show them the fantastic support we can give and hopefully roar the players on to victory. Forget the F.A cup semi finals, this game is bigger. Forget the Play off final, this game is bigger. Forget the wonderful european adventure, this game is the biggest in our proud and fantastic history. Get your scarfs and flags hanging out the windows, show the world you''re proud to be a yellow. Whistle the songs, sing them loud, tell anyone who listens that saturday is going to be the start of the great escape. Hell, even wear those red pants on your head if you think it will help!!The positivity is sweeping through my body as i write this post. Once again im confident and upbeat about saturday. The clock is ticking and i for one can''t wait for 3 oclock to roar the boys on like never before. Saturday is going to be great, Great for Norwich, great for the premier league and great for football. Something special is just around the corner! All together now.........COME ON YOU YELLOWS, COME ON YOU YELLOWS, COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!Or how about, in the words of Albert Smith and probably the wonderful Mr Watling himself........ ON THE DAYS TO CALL, WHICH WE HAVE LEFT BEHIND,OUR BOYHOOD''S GLORIOUS GAME,AND OUR YOUTHFUL VIGOUR HAS DECLINEDWITH ITS MIRTH AND ITS LONESOME END;YOU WILL THINK OF THE TIME, THE HAPPY TIME,ITS MEMORIES FOND RECALLWHEN IN THE BLOOM OF YOUR YOUTHFUL PRIMEWE''VE KEPT UPON THE BALL. KICK OFF, THROW IT IN, HAVE A LITTLE SCRIMMAGE,KEEP IT LOW, A SPLENDID RUSH, BRAVO, WIN OR DIE;ON THE BALL, CITY, NEVER MIND THE DANGER,STEADY ON, NOWS YOUR CHANCE,HURRAH! WE''VE SCORED A GOAL. LET ALL TONIGHT THEN DRINK WITH METO THE FOOTBALL GAME WE LOVE,AND WISH IT MAY SUCCESSFUL BEAS OTHER GAMES OF OLD,AND IN ONE GRAND UNITED TOASTJOIN PLAYER, GAME AND SONGAND FONDLY PLEDGE YPUR PRIDE AND TOASTSUCCESS TO THE CITY CLUB. KICK OFF, THROW IT IN, HAVE A LITTLE SCRIMMAGE,KEEP IT LOW, A SPLENDID RUSH, BRAVO, WIN OR DIE;ON THE BALL, CITY, NEVER MIND THE DANGER,STEADY ON, NOW''S YOUR CHANCE,HURRAH! WE''VE SCORED A GOAL.
