Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted July 7, 2010
Gunn out...Anyone know what happened to Troy Powell or Jon-Bull Osemwegie?
John-Bull Osemwegie wasn''t a trialist, he was an academy scholar not offered a pro deal this summer. Old Shuck 291 Posted July 8, 2010 Surprise, surprise rejected by a whole legion of English clubs, then signed up by PSV Eindhoven!Maybe a case of the definition in this country as being "not good enough" (ie) too small/too slow/not over 6'' 4"/can''t hack the cross country runs/not an athlete etc, aren''t the same in Europe! He might not have been any or all of the above, but he might have been technically a fine footballer, eye for a pass, a move, tactics etc-a nice add-on here, but not enough on its own for most clubs.Hope he does well with them.
