He could have been involved in promotion to League One with Shrewsbury, seeing as when he joined them they were in sight of the playoffs.  How many has he scored for the Shrews?  Er - none.  They are now outside the playoffs.Sorry you''re missing out Jamie, but time to hang your boots up and stop your constant whining.

He had his chance early on in the season and he didn''t take it. He played in a decent run of games and was ineffective. Scoring the odd goal against a tired and disheartened team who were already 3-0 down like the Leyton Orient does not count as a valuable contribution in my book.Ultimately others such as Martin, McDonald and Johnson have contributed important goals at vital times. You can look at all three of those this season and say they have won us matches.

It''s interesting that Lambert tried to sign Curo for Colchester in the summer. Its seems to me that he as been trading off his reputation of being a goalscorer at lower league level for quite for seem time now. Sadly I think his spell at Shrewsbury has shown he is not good enough to play league football anymore. I am starting to think something like the Ridgeons league might be his level.

I really feel sorry for the guy as you always want to see youth products do well but I did''nt rate him the first time he was here and I certainly havent rated him the second time he was here.
