Keep the faith - The Stats look good

Recommended Posts

Calm down everyone and keep the faith, the stats show that we have one foot in the Championship already, with the exception of last season 86 points is a great tally at this stage and 1 more win will probably secure promotion and 2 more defo will, even 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses from our remaining 4 games will be enough. 2008-2009

We''re top of the league for one reason, and that is that we are the best team in this division. If anyone honestly think''s we''re going to drop 7 points out of 4 games, and Millwall/Swindon are going to win every game, well they are wrong. [:)]

Personally i think we have already done the work and a win on Saturday or against Gillingham will see us promoted even with only 89 points. Forget the title from the position we were in in November this will be a major achievement. This is not meant to say I think we will only win one more game, it is meant to say 1 more win should do it.

I''d only go by the most recent stats which look bad to me and show that we''ve got 4 points from the last 4 games. If anything the next 4 games look more difficult than the last 4 so based on current form we will do well to get another 4 points from those and end up with 90 points. So if Leeds & Millwall win all theirs, which is not impossible, then that won''t be enough for us to go up.

It''s gonna be tight, very tight.

I think a draw and a win will do it - but hopefully we will do it in style and win three or even our last four! I think the frustration of not having clinched promotion by now is making people unduly pessimestic.
