Bloke that said we should expect referees that make decisions like that. LOL! And i was surprised we didn''t get a premiership referee purely because it was on sky thought they would have wanted the country to see how good there referee was tonight. Anyone know if Hoolahan is injured? Someone seemed pretty certain he was last night.

I heard that. What a tw*t. He said we should ''expect poor referees'' at this level. Why exactly? That reflects very badly on the thousands of very good refs who officiate at for example youth team football, local football. non-league football etc and right down through the pyramid below championship level. I would have been quite upset if I''d been one of them listening. What a load of tosh.

If there were referee decisions at Sunday league football like that i would have been just as angry. I am sure that the officials are the only people in the ground that hasn''t seen the handball or thought it was a penalty.
