Matt Juler 208 Posted January 18, 2010 Gave up on catching the bus and walked back to the car at Colchester train station after the match. Was "lucky" enough to catch the last 5 minutes or so of the BBC Essex Sports Hour show. The commentator and chap in the studio were talking about Lambert''s behavior, saying that he was inciting the crowd by his reaction to goals and interaction with the City fans. Apparently he just stood there motionless whenever the Col Who fans chanted his name or asked for a wave back in his days as their manager and it was their belief that he was putting it on just for that match. It just goes to emphasize why he was so keen to get out of that place, he clearly had no relationship with their "supporters" and it''s so good to see a City manager who is close to the fans. The Chirp 0 Posted January 18, 2010 they''d chant his name and ask him for a wave which he would give them but that was it... it wasn''t like it is with city fans.

Beetley Yellow 57 Posted January 18, 2010 No chance. He responds to the crowd at Carrow Road in the same way. Maybe he couldn''t hear the crowd when at Col U!!.
