Is not the Fat Cat walking distance from the Train station (and on the Shuttle bus route)? I heard that Hospital Arms and Hole in the Wall, Arts Centre were also Ok? Any thoughts.

Any thoughts.[/quote]The Fat Cat is about 30-35 mins walk across Town to North Station.The Hospital Arms & Hole in The Wall are also good CAMRA pubs along with the Fox & Fiddler. All 3 are in the Town and a bit closer.The Odd One Out is another great CAMRA pub but this is even further out on Mersea Rd. Its close to Colchester Town station but this station is on a branch line. Its a massive car park and should have plenty of space on a Saturday. Will cost you about £3 I think.If you want free parking you could go in Asda, or the Wickes car park but its at your own risk.
