Houston Canary 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Who is involved in this tournament? Will it involve higher divisions at some point? Does anyone care about it? I don''t recall us being involved in it before but I am sure I have seen its name previous years although I don''t know why. Thanks to anyone who can fill me in on this. Guest Posted August 31, 2009 1. League One and League Two teams2. No3. Not really until the later stages when some fans realise a day at Wembley in the final might be worthwhile4. That might be because Luton won it last year with Chris Martin scoring in the final. Of course with Luton being relegated out of the league they aren''t allowed to defend their title.Hope that helps. Shyster 0 Posted August 31, 2009 For obvious reasons, Luton supporters attendance at the ''new'' Wembley against Scunthorpe was the best to date, hence good revenue for all involved.
Paul 0 Posted August 31, 2009 I''ve heard that winning this tournament can mean revenue upwards of £1,000,000, so it''s worth winning.
