Seems Gunn did some things right?

Recommended Posts

Brought in Alnwick on loan.

Gave Spillane a contract.

Signed Askou.

Brought back Paul McVeigh.

Raised Lappin from the dead.

Gave Korey Smith his chance.

Signed Hughes.

Chased Grant Holt and caught him!

Bet on Cody McDonald.

Gave Tom Adeyemi his chance this season.

Of course I''m not there at the moment, so I might be talking rubbish.

Anyway, I wish Paul Lambert all the best and hope that he can weld a winning combination from the ''Gunn''s men'' and a couple of new signings which I am sure he will be given funds for; no doubt from the sales of Hoolahan and Russell - and I wonder if he can get anything from that Australian goalkeeper fella?

Football is full of ironies.

We shall see what we shall see.

One love,

OTBC

One love, has the same effect of people who start by saying ''with respect''  which has precisely the opposite effect

I too can buy a good jigsaw,  but lack the spacial awareness to complete it.  Same with Gunn,  got most of the pieces yet no idea how to put it together.
Nobody ever said he wasn''t a good Head of Player Recruitment.  Just a lousy tactician and motivator.
That''s not true! Loads of people have slagged off every single element of his recent roles at the club.

I thought Gunn identified Roeder''s loanees, and Deehan pinpointed Gunn''s signings.

But, of course, since I''m not there at the moment I may be talking rubbish.

SPillanes contract was renewed but in league one that decision was a no brainer esp with no centre back cover at the club at the time.

Gunn also played Cureton against Barnsley,  but had not started this season,  So lappin starts one game under gunn,  not once this season and he rehabilitates him?  Barely...

No manager does everything wrong,  even Roeder. Gunn has always been out of his depth as a manager - and the results show this.
