Just posted on a coventry forum and I kid you not.. they are not that excited about Clingan.. All they do is whinge (like our fans seem to do, but for different reasons) about how few players they have signed! Clingan would be their 1st, but as we know, once you have the 1st, you can get moving with signings..

I just can''t believe they aren''t even bothered about Sammy! I thought he was outstanding in his short time with us and I wish him all the best in his career!

[/quote]Of course they aren''t that excited, he is NOT that good.  He is Championship quality.  Will look good in there team at most, nothing more nothing less.  He looked great in a crap team however, he is yet to be proven in a good solid team.

Overrated in my opinion was very poor towards the end of last season. I''d cash in on him. He''s an average played who does the basics well but not much else.

I don''t agree though, he job he did was exactly what this team needed, unfortunately, we got him at a time when the rest of the team weren''t up to it!

I agree that we did need to get rid before he left on a free, but I think if Coventry build around him and Gunnarson then its looking good for them.. Sammy does the basics, VERY WELL and every team needs that kind of midfielder

[/quote]We need five CMs? that is what we have atm, anyway he is crap, his set pieces arn''t that good, or we could have scored from loads of corners, which we didn''t, he doesn''t acutally tackle, and passing isn''t very good either, so..........

I never really have a go at other posters but your being absolutely bloody clueless. Daft infact. A total idiot!

Clingan was last yr, by a country mile (i know we went down) but our best player. His performances v the binners was one of the best i have seen by a player in a city shirt.

His set pieces......how many free kicks did he score? How many goals did we score from corners? I dont know, but i do know that we scored more than normal! (i''ll find the stats somewhere!) 6 goals for a holding midfielder too! Penalties or not 6 is still 6! As for his passing! Well you are the guy that rated Fozzy so i''ll leave it there!
