Pyro Pete 2,354 Posted May 3, 2009 Leicester broke the bank to keep their squad together. Their playing squad budget was way above the League One average. We won''t be in a position to do the same thing.

Lincs CR 0 Posted May 3, 2009 We cannot and will not do a Leicester. When leicester went down they had their own players, some very good Championship players, they didn''t have a totally inexperienced and CLUELESS manager, a team full of loanees and a team of players too good for league one. They could put the missing pieces back in and that''s what they have one, we have to rebuild everything. League 2 is not out of the question...
Lincs CR 0 Posted May 3, 2009 by players too good, i mean the likes of Marshall, Clingan, Russell, Shackell, Croft, Hoolahan - 6 players who will leave or won''t agree deals because they are simply too good for league one and will be picked up.No Bertrand, no Leijer, no Mooney, no Carney. The only players of this squad left will be Doc, Semmy, Lee and Russell
