CITY VIEW - Why Canaries should build their team around Clingan

Recommended Posts

Agree entirely... in the few games I''ve caught this season he''s been the oustanding light in a bunch of, mostly, dross... his performance against the Scum was full of skill and passion - he looked up for it, like he''d been participating in the East Anglian Derby for the last 10 years.  He''s classy, skillful and hard-working... if we stay up, we need to hang onto him this Summer, whatever the cost!

I think it is  important to build the team around him or around the £2-3m we can get for him in the summer.

To be honest if it were a case of keeping Clingan or losing him and signing Gow, Mooney, Betrand, Shacks and maybe a good cheap holding midfielder (Graham Kavagnah???) then I would sadly say that letting him go is in the best interest of the team.

That''s because nobody likes you well enough to offer you a ride. ( wink wink )

Thank you for clearing that up.

I was wondering what you were implying team Gunn had done to Sammy!
