Which will win for the Academy £60-04p. As always I ran the same bet through one of the big bookies and the return would only be £48.14 which just goes to show how well Billy[*] looks after us. Even though I say this every week it’s always worth repeating - Billy would welcome each and one of you PUPs and treat your bets the same as this. In fact I have backed a horse with him today. (It’s Rambling Minster for those who want to laugh at my misfortune in the National)[;)] Billy’s a City fan and we are the only club in the world with a free bet. Others have tried and failed. They haven’t been able to find a sponsor like Billy! As Alf would say - Yer the real ridgy-didge Billy and yer bloods worth bottlin’ me ol’ cobber[H]

Now we kick off at 3pm with Arsenal, Celtic, Leicester and MK Dons. If we safely negotiate those it’s AZ Alkmaar at 6:45 this evening and hopefully the excitement will carry on to 8pm tomorrow evening for Milan.

Yes indeed Mr Bump, that''s the great thing about the free bet, we will regroup and have another go next week with another tenner from Billy. But that was so unlucky Mister! AZ Alkmaar won 4-1 tonight so it was just that injury time equaliser at Leicester that spoilt the day.

So unlucky for Monkey Trousers[*] this week but it was not such a great week for all us PUPs. 26 correct naps from 46 selections gave us a 57% success rate for the week. But the top dozen PUPs had a good week so there’s no change at the top of the table. Beaker[*] and Sparkos[*] took their impressive run to 8 consecutive winning naps.

This is the latest PUPs League showing those who have at least 50% correct from at least 50% weeks.
