Wigan Athletic and Egypt goal scoring sensation Amr Zaki is set to miss

tomorrows game against Newcastle United at St. James` Park but Antoine

Sibierski could make a surprise return.Zaki hasn`t travelled

with the Latics squad up to the North East and neither as Emile Heskey

but there is a return to the fold for former Newcastle striker

Sibierski who has been out on loan at Norwich City for the past few

weeksWith both Latics strikers out injured and only Henri

Camara in reserve it isn`t surprising that boss Steve Bruce has

recalled Sibierski and the Frenchman could well be in line for his

first Premier League start of the seasonVital Latics - We are in trouble

Sib went to Wigan training today as they''re short of strikers. I guess they were testing his knee to see if they could get an hour out of him tomorrow. No idea what the outcome was, as there''s been no mention of his recall I guess we''ll have to wait and see, but given Sib''s injury record I would say there''s a 95% chance he won''t play for Wigan tomorrow.

Watching GR interview on CW today, his reaction to sib was strange.

He said he wouldnt be available for Swansea but would be certainly OK for Nottingham Forrest

Just heard Wigan team news - Sibierski not in the squad.

it was in last nite''s paper that he has gone back to wigan fot treatment on his kneeand to see his family and should be back on tuesday.
