Pyro Pete 2,395 Posted August 21, 2004 "If the team stays in the Premiership then a lot of that will probably be down to me"David Bentley has been talking big in an interview in today''s Guardian. He certainly doesn''t seem to lack confidence or self belief. Robbo007 0 Posted August 21, 2004 Interesting read. there''s a difference between arrogance and self-confidence. Possibly he has over-stepped the mark with the comments
First Wizard 0 Posted August 21, 2004 More like the jurno ''sensationalised'' the artical, Robbo007. They do tend to do that you know, I would''nt read too much into it myself, or indeed, read that particular rag. Stick to the EDP my friend.
AJ 1,377 Posted August 21, 2004 i agree robbo. It is not all down to him, it is a team effort. Its the same as huckerby or greeno saying "if i fail we fail"the lad needs a confidence boost!lets hope he scores today!, also Jonson (prenounced YONSON for those who didnt know he was sweedish :P) scored for sweeden, lets hope he scores for us!
