robsonhasscored 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Jas (of the barcly) last season you were one of Marshall''s biggest critics ( some times IMo a little harshly) Just wondered if this season he has won you over with some of his performances. Be interested to hear your views? By the way great to have Drury back today!!!!
Syteanric 1 Posted September 20, 2008 hello.. he has improved somewhat this season.. still critical of him and still makes some bad gaffes(Coventry away and QPR at home) on wednesday he almost got tackled outside his box and the goal was his fault!Always been a good shot stopper though.. never in question! its just the other aspects of his game that let him down.. his handling is more assured this season but he still flaps sometimes and needs to improve the distribution still.. he''s getting there though..jas :)
Bovril 271 Posted September 20, 2008 i totally agree with this, but today was a fantastic performance by marshall...not just the 2 or 3 excellent saves that won us the match but reassuringly he was collecting every ball that came into the box from wide areas for a change and seem to be much more vocal and arranging his players for set pieces...not the finished article but at 22/23 a very good player, and easily good enough as a keeper to help us get out of this division
Houston Canary 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Seems to me The Marshall had good control of his posse of defenders, and they roped up a clean sheet! Yippe kai aye, motha fu......
