sorry roedy, i don't buy it...

we got all we deserved against blackpool - a bigger man up front may have made a difference, but i saw a city side matched by a blackpool side, who had been robbed of their best performers from last season and had 6 men out!!!it looked like a league 1 game to me in all but name...and worryingly, we were again treated to sides playing in our half, while we tried to catch''em on the break...we only properly swarmed over them in the final 20 mins,,,so - stop crying into your beer roedy - while trying to talk up performances imo,,,it''s not rocket science, and no secret, imo you should''ve known the score when you came - there''s no dosh at city to mount a credible prem challenge to match your burning ambition - working within budgets (inadequate) mean you''ve come up well shy in your search for a frontman, but for chrissakes, make sure you rack the pressure on the money men, ''cos we defo need  to loan in a quality, experienced man up front to knock the chances home...

Which game were you watching?? Or were you a little to free with the pre match beer?  Apart from their penalty Blackpool had about oh, 1 shot on goal.  We could have had 4 or 5 in the first half and more in the 2nd especially if Hooligan had brought his shooting boots. Sides playing in our half?  What a load of absolute B****cks!!

Sounds like Scooby has his head screwed on... :) I was there and through we controlled the game but Cureton and Co. failed to get the shots away... it''s funny how when the strikers are the ones to blame, the manager gets all the stick isn''t it? All this talk of Cureton needs a hug and crap, lets face it, he was a bad buy anyway and will never do better than he has last season. We need a striker not an assault on the manager for crying out loud.

yeah right, scooby''s the man - sounds like his head is screwed too far up him to see what happened!!!i agree we had the better chances, and they didn''t have a goal threat, but after curo hit the bar early doors, we did jack until he went one-on-one and missed - for me, in between blackpool were containing our attacks, and were  playing  in our half -  thats how  curo got his  breakaway effort from???   or was i too pi**d to notice???after the break - we look lacklustre, and didn''t make a chance, until rusty came on - then we played some andlooked the better side...but my point was and is, that  this is blackpool we were playing against, and  a weakened side at that - imo, they looked league 1 and we went too far behind...in my view, thats fair comment - obviously you can choose to disagree...
