The Chirp 0 Posted July 15, 2008 From Footy mad site... Glenn Roeder has raided former club Newcastle again - this time for defender Tamas Kadar.Newcastle''s Hungarian Under-21 international defender Tamas Kadar is reported to have signed for Norwich on loan. The details of the loan are not yet known, but the former Zalaegerszegi man, who joined Newcastle in January, would follow the likes of Matty Pattison on the playing side and Lee Clark on the coaching side along the increasingly well-trodden route from St James'' Park to Carrow Road. Kadar, 18, made his first team debut for Zalaegerszegi at the age of 16. According to Wikipedia he was called into the full Hungary squad in May of this year. Have to say i don''t actually know anything about him.. never seen him play...

sturgeon220 0 Posted July 15, 2008 From what I have found so far this would be good business. 6.2 centre back who has played at under 21 level and was in the full Hungary squad in May.

ron obvious 1,505 Posted July 15, 2008 Tamas Kadar’s joy over debut Jan 23 2008 by Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle NEWCASTLEUnited new boy Tamas Kadar was still coming down to earth today afterpulling on a black-and-white shirt for the first time in a whirlwindfew days for the Hungarian youngster. The 17-year-oldleft-footed defender played in the heart of defence for Newcastle lastnight in a 5-0 win for Adam Sadler’s second string, just hours aftertraining with the first team and meeting Kevin Keegan. TheVeszprem-born eastern European – who got international clearance justbefore kick-off to make his debut – shone for the Magpies last nightand played 77 minutes as United ran riot against Boro. Kadar –who was marking Egypt international Mido in his first game – told theChronicle: “I am very happy because I didn’t think it would be possibleto play because of the international clearance. “I didn’tthink I had a chance because I only arrived on Sunday, but I trainedwith the first team in the morning then played last night. “I came off at the end because I felt a little twinge in my knee. “I’ve been training in Hungary on a tough surface but I got caught unluckily by a foul. “I felt I was OK after that, but I came off just as a precaution – it is nothing serious.” Kadar, who United signed from Hungarian minnows Zalaegerszegi, showed somefine touches last night and watched on as Andy Carroll’s hat-trickinspired Newcastle to a great win.
