earlydoors 0 Posted June 30, 2008 For whatever reason talks have broken down with the club, so he decides to go to the local paper and try to use the fans to to put pressure on the board. We need to be careful with how excited we get over this.Until we see all the detail I think we should remain a little bit sceptical. How certain can we be that Cullum will be a Jack Walker and not a Chase or Knighton
DOGGER 0 Posted June 30, 2008 By all accounts, he seems like a genuine supporter
kdncfc 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Mr Cullum is like a dream come true for us, we will not get anyone better and if this doesn''t happen there will be a lot of very unhappy Norwich fans. It simply must happen for the good of the club. If he has gone public to put pressure on the current board then good on him, if that''s what it takes then so be it. Desi Rascall 0 Posted June 30, 2008 theres two ways of interpreting this That the deal stalled and this is one last atttempt to force a palace coup. That the initial offer was unaceptable for some reason, and either niggles were ironed out or one or both parties came round to the others way of thinking,(best case scenario). kdncfc 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Delias speech at the show intimated that there could be investment on the way so it seems strange that the edp story claims that talks have broken down. Doesn''t all addd up to me, either someone else is putting some money in or the edp hasn''t got the full story and things have moved on.
