Sensationalised Journalism

Recommended Posts

Now unless the mdeia have some inside info, it appears thatonce again the local media are going a bit OTT.

"City are told to back off"

How do you Know?

This story is on the basis that Notts Forest have warned off interest from clubs in general (no mention of NCFC) and that NCFC were linked with the player (probably in the gossip columns of the Mirror).

Have the Evening News etc got nothing better to do than make large stories out of absolutely nothing?

Apparently not, Huddy... Its Mr Cuffley once again, too... he''s

becoming the master of taking 2, adding 2 and coming up with 117 as the

answer....

To be fair with the lack of anything concrete coming out of Carrow Road, boredom has set in on the Sports desk at Archant and their minds are now just trying to find anything to fill the back page!

Doesn''t mean we have to like it... Cuffley is fast becoming the master

of these misleading headline, however... My personal objection is that

he''s not even commenting on stories that are at the fore - I mean,

Nathan Tyson? It was mentioned on a rumour thread yesterday that Forest

had issued a hands-off warning, but there was never anything concrete

linking him to us anyway, and Forest make no mention of us.  At

least his Ameobi nonsense was relevant, this one appears to be anything

but.

What would your back page have been today then to try and sell paper which is your job with no news to report?

Perhaps the editors should be trying to get in touch with players, get an interview with them. Something that might actually interest the fans, with regard to the coming season.

All this talk about Pattinson and "Roeders Double transfer blow" , you''d think we''d missed out on two key targets, when fact it seems one was someone we made brief, late enquiry about and the other was someone we were nterested in in January....

Its about time the editors come up with something substantial if they want to write these stories, if not get an interview with someone or report stories away from NCFC. Perhaps National Sport or stories around Norfolk in other sports that Are TRUE!...just a thought!
