Now is the time to loan out our young players

As the pyramid of football surely dictates now is the time to loan out our Young players.As Wegner & CO. see it prudent to use the Championship as their Greenhouse, so we should use the lower divisions to give our own lads an equal opportunity to gain experience. As much as some members of this Board believe we have no talent I diasagree. A designer label does not always prove the best value for money nor does it last as long as something made at home.

Unless these boys go they will vegetate, even the Reserves now give them no guarantee of a game.We have signed on loan some very talented players according to the PR that runs with these imports, but a degree of sympahathy is deserved for some of the boys yet to have a chance. If Roeder is really here for the long term prove to these boys and many more Norfolk lads yet to enter the Academy that there really is a level playing field at Colney

spillane and cave brown need to get some football now, Martin does but we''ll have to get another striker in first. As for the other kids, they''ll all leave in the summer for sure anyway.

How many enquiries did we get for our youngsters?

If they go, they need to go down to a level where they will be getting 1st team games and if that means the Conference, so be it.

You might argue that the Conference should bring their own players through, particularly if that is the standard that we currently have in the ''greenhouse''. Will loaning them out make that much difference? What has perceivable difference has it made to Ryan Jarvis, for example.

It''s ime for our youngsters to learn not go out on loan, look at the loanees and find out why they fit Glenn''s lans better than them, they have to find out what is required to make a pro footballer.  I am sure hey have enough talent but do they have the mental attitude to make it?
