One club was fighting relegation, the other going for promotion. One would be Paterson presumably, I don''t think Rasiak was the other as GR said they were both young and Southampton are as much in the promotion race as we are. Roeder is reported as having said that it was an experienced Championship striker who had joined a Premiership side instead, and I can''t think of any Championship strikers joining Premiership sides this deadline other than Rasiak from Southampton to Bolton.
