Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted August 18, 2007 He''s brave and he''s direct. The goals Saints conceeded against Palace last week indicate their defenders hate strong direct forwards. If Brown gets the nod he will be our key player against Saints today because he will run straight at their centre. If he can score to then today will be the day he truly arrives.Go Chris! nutty nigel 7,902 Posted August 18, 2007 I was impressed by him on Tuesday, but then I was in the few games I saw him play last season. Is his lack of goalscoring really such a problem? We managed to score 5 goals in 30 mins on Tuesday with Brown up top. If he was a natural goalscorer would we have got more?? I doubt it! It''s all about team play.I''ll tell you what though ... he is a nightmare to play against.. just like Barnets No.20 Hendon found out on Tuesday night! Anyone else hear him tell CB "C U next Tuesday" [:D]

Graham Humphrey 13 Posted August 20, 2007 I''m not going to knock Brown here, as he looks a different player now, but is he the only striker in our history to have more red cards than goals?
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted August 20, 2007 I''ve been impressed by his work rate and his team play, he seems to be involved all the time justing lacking that bit of quality. With Cureton on fire at the moment, Brown is doing a good job up top assisting him.
