Peter Crouch - Please come and get me .... I want to play !

Recommended Posts

Well Peter Crouch had already scored 7 goals in the Champions League but that wasn''t good enough for Senor Benitez, a huge mistake.

So he played only one man up front Dirk Kuyt who only had scored once, the penalty winner versus Chelsea.

He also played Zenden who was injured and played with an injection, instead of a fit Peter Crouch, another mistake.

I realy felt sory for him when Benitez made his next third mistake by bringing on Harry Kewell who had not played for ages.

Peter Crouch only played in the last 15 minutes and had a great shot tipped over the bar .......

In december 2005 when Liverpool played for the World Club Championship in Tokyo Benitez did the same thing to Peter Crouch.

In the semi-final Liverpool won 3 - 0 against Costa Rica''s Deportivo Saprissa, with Peter crouch in great form scoring twice.

A few days later they played the final against Sao Paulo and he held Peter crouch on the bench until ''6 minutes'' from time, unbelievable the same has happened again yesterday.

Liverpool lost the final 0 - 1, preferring again Kewell and also Spaniard Morientes in the starting line-up.

I hope you agree with me that it''s bad management, Benitez has failed twice here !

Please come back to Carrow Road Peter Couch ... 90 minutes for sure .... ''smile''

I thought Kewell was one of Liverpool''s best players after he came on...  other than that I agree with you totally.

Crouch should of started and Bellamy should of come on with half an hour to go at the very latest... the ageing Maldini, Nesta & Co wouyld of been absolutely terrified of Bellamy''s pace, aggressive streak and directness.

Many more mistakes like that from Benitez and I would be asking him to step down if I was Liverpool''s new owners.

Despite what Pleat, Townsend and the other ITV dimwits had to say Liverpool never, ever looked like winning last night''s game!!!

Yep I agree as well, the only danger is that the rest of the team reverts to a long-ball game when he comes on, and we all know he''s not that good in the air, just a nuisance and a distraction.

He should have kept Kuyt on along side Crouch, what was the point of bringing Arbelola on so late?

Gerrard was also playing far too high up the pitch, was totally ineffective.

dear god what are you talking about. 2 champions league finals in 3 years one of which he wins and you want a replacement manager???

possibly the most ridiculous thing posted on here today!!

I thought he looked exactly the same as his whole time at Liverpool....  A SHOCKING WASTE OF SPACE.  I doubt many liverpool fans will be unhappy when this lazy total loser finally leaves the club.

The fact he played instead of the hungry Bellamy who even stated this would be the biggest game of his life shows the error of judgement from Benitez in this game.
