Freeza 0 Posted February 27, 2007 Bally Smart perhaps on the bench? Spillane or Cave-Brown on bench as well to leave option of throwing Doherty forward? Bare-bones is an under-statement!
Salopian 1 Posted February 27, 2007 It''s unthinkable, but PG may be forced to, - if there is no Hux, no Dion, and Ryan J can''t be fetched back, then Martin on his own!? He would need support, probably from McV. As Martin seems the only one likely to score at the moment, this may be PG''s only resort. It would be a 4-4-2, with the midfield of Lappin, Fozzy, Dickson, Croft (if fit, otherwise stick a pin in, but why not Colin?).These are desperate days, and who want to be a manager in these circumstances? He deserves just a little bit of luck!
Blinded by the lights... 0 Posted February 27, 2007 In a worst case scenario for Luton tonight - Dublin, Brown etc and even Hucks and Crofty injured, this has to be the game for McVeigh to earn his wages for the season and recapture the form of old. Maybe even (and only laugh if u were at the leeds away game last season) play hughes in the hole supporting martin and running his b******s off: GallagherColin Doherty Shackell Drury Safri EtuhuMcVeigh Hughes Lappin Martin subs Lewis, Spillane, Fotheringham and... whoever can walk

ZLF 335 Posted February 27, 2007 I cant see Hux not starting and it sounds like a bit of gamesmanship (I hope). WLY has looked better the last couple of game so he is an option. I would like to seeGallyColin Doc Shax DruryCroft Fozzy Safri Lappin Martin Hux SUbsLewis Hughes Etuhu McV, EagleHowever I am pretty sure that Etuhu and Hughes will start

Agree with whoever said that McVeigh looks to be on form so he may be an option from the bench for later on.
