Has our season finally taken off?

Not wanting to get too carried away with the last 3 matches, but I do get a feeling that at long last, our season might just have started!

We have 2 wins in the last 3, and of late we have played good football, and we should have made it 3 out of 3 (Wolves).

The playoffs are unrealistic, but they say a cup run can kick-start your season, well could it for us? It is realistic to think that we could finish in the top half, and for me, that would be acceptable, for PG''s first season, and what is now more or less a changed squad from a few months ago.

And we have yet to put out our strongest team? - Chadwick, Ernie missing since the recovery, the two scots and Brown played so few games, and ditto Martin. Some deadwood gone, a good new coach in - things are on the up.Things can only get better, so long as we don''t encounter any more serious injuries, but with two games a week coming up.......

Depends upon your perspective doesn''t it..? I''d say we''re looking at moving (slowly but steadily) onwards and upwards, but there are plenty who would look at the situation differently, which is the perogarative...

Possibly,but I think that it is likely to be derailed again on Saturday afternoon.Judging by the way that an average side like Blackpool cut straight through our midfield(ha ha) and defence,I hate to think what a good championship side would do. Nevermind a good champions league side.

Not taken off but moving in the right direction with a long way to go.

I feel optimistic for next season if one or two key players could be retained.
