percyvarco 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Looking at the new squad photo in the een I noticed that we have almost a 2:1 ratio of players to staff who are deemed vital for the photo. I would love to read the job description of some of them.I don''t see enough players for them all to manage!Exactly why do we need an Assistant Kit Manager? Prudence with Ambition or Jobs for the Boys?
Yellow Rages 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Thats what I said. I asked if anyone knew what the kit manager actually did on a daily basis and why does he need an assistant? I there that much to do?
Rossi 0 Posted July 25, 2006 I''m not trying to defend this one becasue i agree - but as far as my knowledge stretches the kit team are also responsible for things like drinks and so on every day.I believe that they have to order and keep suplies up to date on a day to day basis and then load / unload the coach on match days.Having seen first hand that it takes a good couple of hours to load the hundreds of drinks and kit on board then it is a little more than meets the eye. More than a persons work could be stretching it a little though.
silver fox 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Simple the kit manager looks after the players making sure they always have a nice clean kit to wear, and his assistant looks after the management and coaching staff.I don''t know about assistant kit manager, can anyone tell me what Doug Livermore does? I didn''t know what they actually did, hence the question. There has to be more to it though surely in order to justify two heads. Perhaps the assistant looks after the reserves? I wonder what they earn?
