Canary Boy 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Who else would now agree that Nigel Worthington''s days are now numbered as Norwich City manager?Surely the inability to play football, the emphasis on hoofball and the lack of ambition at the club cannot be allowed to continue into the new season.Granted, the season hasn''t started yet and we all might get a nice surprise, but if we continue where we left off last season and no obvious improvement is seen fairly quickly (i.e. the first 5 games), surely the board will finally feel the pressure from the fans who won''t put up with it anymore. With Martin O''Neill still available and obviously ready to come back into football management, now is the time to act. Even with limted funds, the guy has the ability to motivate, analyse and correct the hoofball style so prevelent at Carrow Road last season. He is proven this at every club he has been at. Carrow89 186 Posted July 6, 2006 " Even with limted funds "yep, that''s him signed then. Turns down numerous high profile jobs to take a massive pay cut to join us. I wonder why no other non premiership club hasn''t had the same brainwave as you ?.
Nobodys Perfect 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Yep. Home defeat to Barnsley after a cup exit to Torquay should do it. Although it probably won''t.
beelsie 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Where on earth did all that supposition come from. Also with the range of choices that will be available to M''O''N why on earth would he wan''t to come here after all the poor press notices that has been earned for NCFC by the rabble who chant incessantly from a rumour based stand-point Worthy-out!!!
