Scooby 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Alan Curbishley is to leave Charlton at the end of the season. If Delia and the board have any ambitions for the club they will speak to him as soon as possible to get him here as our new manager. They have always said that they would like Norwich to follow in Charlton''s footsteps . Let''s see if they really meant it
a1canary 0 Posted April 30, 2006 oh for goodness sake, is the weather nice where you live?curbishley will be looking for the next step - i think he''s earnt theright not to have to turn an unexceptional division 1 club into anestablished premiership club all over again. he''ll be looking forsomething that puts him closer to the england job, if not for that jobitself, which means a big premier club, with genuine europeanaspirations or that is already in europe.he''s shown what he can do with mere resources, he has to show what hecan do on a bigger stage with bigger resources now. so don''t set him upto come here so you can knock the club when he doesn''t, because it''sjust not happening! Tom NCFC 0 Posted April 30, 2006 He did say last year that he thought Norwich had a lot of the same characristics of Charlton. I''d love him to come here!
Ken Aries 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Today''s Sunday Mirror seems convinced that he will be taking over the hot-seat at Villa. They say it''s a certainty that there will be a vacancy there this summer. I would have thought for him to resign as he has done he must have something already lined up.
Beaker 0 Posted April 30, 2006 forget it, he''ll go to either Newcastle or Villa if they sack o''dreary or any other spare prem job

Fellow posters scoffed and then it happened.
