Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Leicester came a close second to Norwich today as did my garden. The sun came out and it was a late decision to go to the game rather than tend my manicured patch. When I was watching the game the repetition of Green hoof, Leicester defender head, Leicester attack, Green hoof etc made me wonder why I bothered. It was parks football even down to the scrapping of Mckenzie. The team did put the effort in, particularly MOTM Huckerby, the atmosphere was odd again and was not lost on the Leicester supporters.I have no idea what Worthington could have learned from the team he played today as there was no experimentation, just safety and mediocrity first. The supporter, player, Club atmosphere hit a new low with the incident between green and the supporters. I did not see the incident but I assume he knew to whom he was aiming his response so as to avoid insulting and disaffecting those who had not antagonised him.I have still not renewed my season ticket and I don''t expect anyone out there to give a toss about that suffice to say there was nothing about today which did anything but confirm my apathy and I know from conversations that others feel the same.Part of me likes to think Worthington is leaving at the end of the season and this is why there is ill feeling between players and supporters and also why he is trying to build his reputation with a few late wins.To top it all the bloody biscuit monsters got in well before half time again. I looked at the two remaining custard creams and half dozen chocolate bourbons in disgust while huddled around the tables the monsters had little piles of chocolate digestives, coconut crumbles and wafer biscuits. It reminded me of Worthington in the transfer market, late pickings, poor selection and dull boring offerings.By the way, does anyone else think JJ looks like a young Art Garfunkel ''Hello darkness my old friend.'' Ken Aries 0 Posted April 3, 2006 Your little ditty is very good, Rudolph. It would be good if the snake pit and Barclay could adopt it as their anthem.
