MC_NCFC 65 Posted March 17 We seem to have a player who can run fast forward and beats his man. However, running back and trying to get past his man seems to be impossible. Any physicists out there who can help answer why certain players run slower when tracking back? Probably something to do with down force.

You don't need a physicist, run down to your local shop and touch the wall, then run back - see which is the quickest. Players also seek to cover and prevent players from cutting inside so will deliberately steer them out wide where they're less of a threat. Do you have an example perhaps? MC_NCFC 65 Posted March 17 Just now, Google Bot said: You don't need a physicist, run down to your local shop and touch the wall, then run back - see which is the quickest length. You’d think this would create an obvious answer. You can be potentially wrong depending on the distance, pace and whether the momentum had been maxed out on the first leg. Some people would still be getting up to speed and maximise their distance per second on the return leg.
nutty nigel 7,536 Posted March 17 I feel sorry for folk with upstairs loos. Getting there is the most important yet most difficult dash. Great thread btw... 🚽

Try it and find out, only way to be sure isn't it. Do it in bursts over a 90 min period too, pretty sure the first leg you'll be quicker, especially if you're not aware that you've got to run back as soon as you touch the wall. Will give it a go for chippy tea on Friday. Be good to have a few members have a go and record just to get a testing group together to identify any trends Edited March 17 by MC_NCFC

I'd prefer KFC though, is that possible? 🙂
