dylanisabaddog 4,970 Posted March 3 Those of a certain vintage will be interested to hear that the BBC is considering remaking Bergerac. In the frame for the lead role are David Tennant and the bloke from Poldark. First person to say something smutty about Liza Goddard will be in big trouble with Connor.

I didn’t think it was that good the first time around so it sounds as if the BBC might be scraping the bottom of the barrel if they’re seriously considering resurrecting it.
Canary73 160 Posted March 3 Can't go wrong with most of those Sunday Night slots - Tenko, Lovejoy, Bergerac, Howards Way but they aren't candidates for remakes. There appears to be a real lack of creation/imagination these days with the number of repeat programmes. Rather than the Beeb remake them they could get another full series airing on BBC4 which is what they are doing with Play for Today etc which is always a worthwhile watch. Tv these days is too much lowest common denominator fare.. Traitors, Neverenders, the apprentice, the wheel, amongst the plethora of day time tv tosh. Its actually hard to find any difference in the tv schedules these days with flog it etc on every day it seems...
