Question to the older crowd....

Recommended Posts

I've been searching for this shirt for a while to complete my collection - and as I am only 30 I obviously don't know this but can anyone tell me why there are 2 versions of it and is the one without a sponsor real or fake???

Thankyou! Don't want to spend the amount asked for it and it be fake.

I still have this shirt from back in the day. Mine has the extra UEFA decoration. Still fits me, too. Which means there are 3 versions for you to search for…

Possibly a preseason player shirt?

The first-ever NCFC third shirt, needed to avoid a kit clash when playing Vitesse in Arnhem

Only worn for that one game, I believe.

The sponsor-free version has a club crest that looks waaaaay too small, but that is just my opinion.

I can only remember being worn in the Vitesse game. Maybe a sample or mock up?

Got an answer from the book of faces, the one without a sponsor is an "early version" the one with a sponsor is the one worn for the match and the one with the Uefa banner is the "later version" so all versions are very real - so I'm going for the one without as it's cheaper and will fit better and then I'll have all the N&P shirts finally!

Here is Ian Crook, at Arnhem, wearing the shirt that was apparently a "later version"
