pete 319 Posted September 8, 2022 Just checked the Underr 21.s squad photo's on Canaries website. We have 4 keepers not including Dan Barden, 3 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 forwards. That seems not very many. Under 18's not much better 2 keepers, 4 defenders, 7 midfielders and 4 forwards. Match day squad for U 21's can only name 13 with 3 keepers on bench. Checked on Academy players last season there were around 20 in each squad. We are really taking cost cutting to the extreme. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think it's structured in a way to allow some u18s a crack at getting into the u21s, which gives scholars a chance lower down etc If you've got two full youth teams with no vertical movement, you're doing it wrong 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
